11.15% Gilt Dealt For Rs 145 Crore

NSE REPORT

The WDM at the NSE saw active trading yesterday, with prices of securities shooting up by over one rupee across the board. The day saw 200 deals and a volume of Rs 1362.08 crore. Of this, the treasury bills segment saw volume of Rs 166.50 crore.

The 11 per cent government loan maturing on 2002 saw 26 trades of Rs 165 crore and was traded at a weighted average yield of 11.01 per cent. The paper was traded for a low of Rs 98.92 and high of Rs 100.75.

The 13.50 per cent government loan maturing on 2007 saw 26 trades for Rs 185 crore and at a weighted average yield of 11.89 per cent. The paper was traded for a low of Rs 105.30 and high of Rs 106.75. The 11.15 per cent government loan maturing on 2002 saw 24 trades and volume of Rs 145 crore. The paper was traded at the weighted average yield of 11.04 per cent, at the low of Rs 99.70 and high of Rs 100.75.

 

A bulk deal aggregating to Rs 25 crore was concluded for the zero per cent government loan maturing on 1999 at a yield of 9.47 per cent and a price of Rs 93.00. The 364-days T-bills maturing on September 10, 1998 saw trades worth Rs 40 crore at a weighted average yield of 8.25 per cent. A bulk deal was done for the 364-days bill maturing on April 24, 1998 aggregating to Rs 30 crore at the yield of 7.06 per cent.
