11.64% Gilt Dealt For Rs 45 Crore

The wholesale debt market segment at the National Stock Exchange clocked a trading volume of Rs 284 crore of which treasury bill segment saw a volume of Rs 23 crore. There were two trades concluded in the commercial paper segment that contributing to a volume of Rs 10 crore.

The CP of Grasim maturing on July 14 was traded for Rs 5 crore at the yield of 9.25 per cent and that of Telco maturing on September 7 was traded for Rs 5 crore at the yield of 10.85 per cent.

A repo traded was done for 12.59 per cent government loan maturing on 2004 for Rs 25 crore.

 

The deal was concluded for a term of 14 days and at the rate of 7.90 per cent.

The 11.64 per cent government loan maturing on 2000 was traded for Rs 45 crore at the weighted average yield of 11.11 per cent.

The 12 per cent government loan maturing on 1999 was traded for Rs 15 crore at the weighted average yield of 10.07 per cent, with a low of Rs 101.30 and high of Rs 103.42.

The zero per cent government loan maturing on 2000 (series II) was traded for Rs 30 crore and at the weighted average yield of 11.09 per cent.

The paper was traded for a low of Rs 79.60 and high of Rs 79.65.
