Bse Imposes Circuit Filter For Odd Lots

For A group scrips, the limit will be 10 per cent. For B1 and B2 group stocks, prices of which are unto Rs 25, the circuit filter limit will be 25 per cent. Stocks between Rs 25 to Rs 50, the limit will be 20 per cent. For stock prices above Rs 50 the limit will be 15 per cent.
Meanwhile, the exchange has further informed its members in a directive from the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) on the various margin slabs. The Sebi directive has specified a fixed threshold limit of 25 per cent of the base minimum capital plus additional capital, if any, deposited by a member with the exchange or Rs 10 lakh, whichever is lower, for payment of mark to market margin.
After the computation of mark to market, a member will be required to pay a daily margin which will be the highest of the gross exposure margin, net exposure margin, and mark to market margin.
