Dlf - A Dream Fulfilled

With the population of Delhi almost doubling overnight, providing shelter to teeming millions assumed critical importance. It was at this time that the founder of the DLF Group, Chaudhary Raghvendra Singh, took up the challenge and developed as many as 25 urban townships in Delhi, housing half-a-million people. Among these are the present posh areas of Greater Kailash, South Extension, Hauz Khas, Model Town and Rajouri Garden.
From the beginning, DLFs emphasis was on providing high quality housing along with an established social infrastructure - a concept unknown in India till then.
