This is in response to your editorial A call to the faithful.You are right about your observations on the economic policies of the BJP. The partys call to give protection to Indian industry for 7-10 years is ridiculous. Indian consumers will not allow it to do so. It is nothing but an election stunt to please the swadeshi lobby. It is clear, that Jaswant Singh and co do not know, or do not want to know, what economics of business in a global scenario is all about.
