Female Power

The recent addition of four women to the cabinet was a fitting tribute to Indias commitment to the upliftment of women in the 50th year of independence.

It was a clever and diplomatic move, which should be followed up by empowering women at lower levels. A possible step in this direction could be the recruitment and training of an all-women police force to implement the administration of law and order all over India.
