Ficci Signs Mou With Iis Infoteeh For Mba

The Federation Of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (Ficci) is, sigcaing a mem orandum of understanding with IIS Infotech, a city based soft ware and training company, under which, Ficci will disseminate information regarding a 15-month MBA programme being conducted by Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussees (ENPC), a French university at the IIS Institute of Management at Kochi.

As a part of the tie-up, FICCI will send the MBA programme details and other relevant information to all it's members.

The programme will also receive due publicity in Ficci's inhouse journals. The basic idea is to let the industry know about the existence of this course so that they Can send their people for training. FICCI will only act as an information centre.

 

"It will not be involved in the modalities regarding admission etc," informed a Ficci executive.

The collaboration with ENPC, which is located in Paris, will provide FICCI the opportunity to or ganise workshops with the faculty members which includes professors drawn from international institutessuch as Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Howard etc. These workshops, dealing with various industry-related issues, will be conducted in different parts of the country.

FICCI already has a similar tie-up with Apmesa Deakins University of Australia. It has been disseminating information about the long distance MBA programme for technocrats offered by the Australian university for the last three years.

The chamber would be formally announcing this MoU with IIS Infotech at a function to be held here yesterday.
