Futures Trading In Rbd Palmolein Approved

A notification to this effect was issued by the ministry of consumer affairs & public distribution on August 7, Navinchandra N Shah, president of BOOE said in a statement yesterday.

Last week, the government had permitted futures trading in six commodities, namely, groundnut, groundnut oil, groundnut oil cake, sunflower seed, sunflower oil and sunflower oil cake, he said.

The exchange would commence futures trading in RBD palmolein (October to December delivery), groundnut oil expeller (November 2000 and January 2001 delivery), refined sunflower oil (November 2000 and January 2001 delivery), shah said.
