Ioc Tender To Buy High Sulphur Fuel Oil

State-owned Indian Oil Corp (IOC) has issued a tender to buy three more cargoes of high sulphur fuel oil for delivery in March to Mumbai, a company official said yesterday.

In its latest tender, IOC is seeking to buy three 30,000-tonne 180-cst, 3.5 per cent sulphur grade fuel oil cargoes for delivery March 8-12, 16-20 and 26-31 respectively, the official said.

The tender closes on February 27 and offers are valid for one day.

IOC had earlier issued a tender to buy one cargo of the same grade for delivery March 1-5 to Mumbai.

The tender closes February 20 and is valid for one day.

 

India last purchased two cargoes for February at between $10.48 to $10.80 per tonne over Mideast quotes on a cost-and-freight (C&F) basis.
