Itc Stock Plunges

On the National Stock Exchange, the stock yesterday clocked a turnover of Rs 125.40 crore and was the third highest traded stock in the bourse for the day. The stock suffered a setback in the opening session itself when it shed nearly Rs 10 from its overnight close of Rs 274.75.

After opening at Rs 265, it touched the day's high at Rs 265.25 and then dropped to the day's low of Rs 255.55. The price band for the stock on the NSE was 7 per cent where the stock fell by Rs 19.20 (6.98 per cent), NSE sources said.

 

The price hammering on the BSE was more rampant as the stock at one stage had slumped to an intra-day low of Rs 240.50.
