Legal Delay

This refers to the editorial A bitter pill (June 17). In my opinion, one of the most important reasons for delay in passing judgements is frequent adjournments. I suggest that not more than two or three adjournments be allowed to any one party of the suit. Oral arguments should be reduced and the counsels/advocates should be advised to file written representations.

If both these suggestions are implemented, then a lot of time can be saved.
