Hexacom India limited , licensee for providing mobile telephony services in Rajasthan with OASIS CELLULAR as its brand name were first to start cellular operations in the state. Infrastructure in Rajasthan was insufficient to meet the ever increasing requirements of one of the most rapidly developing states in India.

Oasis cellular were pioneers in communication in Rajasthan introducing Cellular services with Ericsson, which is world leader in GSM technology.

Currently Oasis is operational in five major cities with over ten thousand subscribers on its network striving to fulfill their communication demand. In its subscribers base Oasis caters to Business segment including corporate, industrialist, exporters, transport etc. and professionals.

Quality of Oasis network in Rajasthan is backed up by the fact that out of 10 people opting for mobile services in Rajasthan, 7 prefer to be in Oasis. Oasis provided on line election results in February & March Lok Sabha elections in association with Rajcomp, aggregating to an overwhelming response of 20,000 calls. Recently Oasis has introduced Dial - A - Score service providing on line cricket scores for the test & triangular service.

Further Oasis Cellular plans to introduce Toll Free Help Line connecting Oasis subscribers to emergency services and Oasis Info Line providing relevant information to tourists and business segments.

FUTURE PLANS -

Oasis in 1998-99

Network - Oasis is present in Jaipur, Jodhpur, Udaipur, Kota & Ajmer and will commence its operation in Kishangarh, Makrana and Beawar before end on May 1998. Oasis network then will expanded in eleven more cities before end of 1998.

Subscriber Base - Oasis targets a subscriber base of over 35000 subscribers in next financial year. Services- Oasis will introduce prepaid services and additional services like Dial - A- Stock or Oasis Help Line. Oasis will also provide voice mail service in next financial year.

Oasis Spring Festival

Oasis is celebrating spring festival with special airtime offers bundled with Nokia, Ericsson & Alcatel handset. Oasis is providing wrist watch and free incity airtime to subscribers booking in spring festival till April 30, 1998.Oasis Cellular is the first in Rajasthan to organised free service camp for Nokia & Ericsson handsets as a part of spring festival.
