Rajasthan Delegation

The Rajasthan deputy chief minister, Hari Shankar Bhabhra, will lead a high level delegation to Italy, Germany and Switzerland in a bid to attract foreign investment in industrial sector in the desert state. The delegation consisting of the principal secretary, industry, NS Sisodia, the managing director of the Rajasthan State Industrial Development & Investment Corporation, G S Sandhu, and its deputy general manager K P Laa will leave for a ten-day tour from Delhi today, official sources said. In the first leg of the visit Bhabhra will meet local investors in Turin, Kara and Pisa in Italy. In the second, the Indian embassy has planned some industrial promotion meetings for the delegation in Zurich. The representatives of the Swiss Development Corporation Agency, the Swiss- Indian Chamber of Commerce and jwellery manufacturing unit would be participating in the meeting.
