Ssi Body Demands Hike In Investment Limit To Rs 5 Cr

An association representing small scale industries (SSI) has demanded immediate hike in investment limit from Rs 1 crore to Rs 5 crore on all the non-reserved and non-traditional items manufactured by the sector.
Federation of Indian Micro and Small and Medium Enterprises (FISME) has urged the government to hike the investment limit in the non-traditional sectors like general engineering, electrical and plastics as units were facing difficulties due to non-availability of funds for technology upgradation.
