Supreme Telecom-munications, established in 1973, as a telecom cabling company has subsequently started specializing in the turnkey implementation of medium and large telecom networks.In the early nineties, when the telecom sector opened in India, ushering in a period of high growth, Supreme was firmly in place with the expertise to provide powerful support to a host of international telecom major, particularly in the setting up of integrated digital transmission networks.

Some of the most challenging projects include an overhead cable network in exceptionally difficult terrain the snowbound upper reaches of Kashmir and telecom networks for the ONGC in Assam.

The company, headquartered in Mumbai, has emerged as the first to use jelly-filled telephone cables in telecom projects in India. The companys other firsts include private digital microwave radio network in ONGC, 2-Ghz digital microwave network for South Central Railway, FDDI fibre-optic network for Hutchinson, metal-free optical fibre communication network on overhead electrical transmission lines for Nathpa Jhakri Power Corporation in Himachal Pradesh.For special telecom projects with very specific customised needs, the company has created a separate cell with its own group of professionals which specialise in the execution of such contracts.
