Trades In Fi Bonds Total Rs 70 Crore

The wholesale debt market (WDM) at the National Stock Exchange (NSE) clocked a trading volume of Rs 423.49 crore while treasury bills contributed to a volume of Rs 25 crore.

The day also saw active trading in the bonds floated by the financial institutions such as IDBI, IFCI and ICICI totalling a volume of Rs 70 crore.

The 14.75 per cent bonds of IDBI, maturing in 2003, were traded for Rs 40 crore in the band of Rs 103. 57 and Rs 104. 05. The zero per cent ICICI and IFCI bonds, maturing in 1999, were traded for Rs 30 crore.

 

The 11.50 per cent government loan, maturing in 2004, was traded for Rs 75 crore at the weighted average yield of 11.75 per cent. The paper saw 11 trades, and was dealt for a low of Rs 98.60 and high of Rs 99. The 11.75 per cent government loan, maturing in 2006, saw nine trades totalling Rs 45 crore. The paper was traded at the weighted average yield of 11.91 per cent for a low of Rs 99 and high of Rs 99.25.

The 12.69 per cent government loan, maturing in 2002, was traded for Rs 40 crore at the weighted average yield of 11.35 per cent. The paper was traded at a low of Rs 104 and high of Rs 104.25.
