The US is trying to put spanners in Indias indigenous scientific research programme, according to a senior US-based scientist. The CIA is opposed to technology transfer to India. They see India as a potential threat and future competition, Krishna R Dronamraju, president of Houston-based Foundation for Genetic Research and a senior member of the Hillary Clinton Panel on Healthcare Reforms has said.
