England and Wales cricket board (ECB) chief executive Tom Harrison has said English cricket could lose as much as 380 million pounds if the season is wiped out due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The projected loss takes into account the international as well as domestic games. Last week, ECB had suspended county season until July, with nine rounds abandoned.
"We anticipate that with no cricket this year - as a worst-case scenario for our planning purposes - that could be as bad as 380 million. That would be the loss of 800 days of cricket across all our professional clubs and the ECB as well," a web portal cricketer.com quoted Harisson.
