Telecom service provider, Aircel, is looking at growing its customer base in Kolkata to more than 4 lakh plus this fiscal with increased focus on network expansion and aggressive marketing through innovative brand campaigns.
Speaking on the sidelines of a brand promotion campaign, Praveg Gupta, business head of the Kolkata circle, said “We would be looking at expanding our customer base which is at present close to 3.5 lakhs and also maintaining the current momentum of growth and market share of 25 percent in Kolkata.”
As a part of its brand promotion or outdoor advertising activity, Aircel today launched its advertising initiative using 25 Kolkata trams.
Used so long for normal advertising, they were flagged off today with paintings by city artist Samir Biswas, both on the interior and exterior walls, depicting the ethos and spirit of the city through some of Kolkata's symbols like Howrah bridge, Rani Rashmoni's house, Coffee house, St Paul's Cathedral, Victoria Memorial, etc.
