Cognizant positioned in 'Leaders' quadrant

IT services major Cognizant has announced that it has been positioned in the 'Leaders' quadrant for Offshore Applications Services by Gartner in its recently published "Magic Quadrant for Offshore Applications Services".

According to Gartner, 'Leaders' in the Offshore Applications Services Quadrant are performing well. They have a clear vision of market and are actively building competency to sustain their leadership position in the market, a company release said.

'Leaders' also exhibit a number of additional traits, like demonstrated excellence in delivering services based on a global delivery model, using offshore services to differentiate and as a key element in ongoing revenue growth across a broad base of application services, allocation of high levels of focus and investment to building brand awareness and "mind share" in offshore-application-service delivery, and demonstrated steady investment and a commitment to developing and promoting offshore application services, the release added.
