Hutch-to-Hutch rates come down

Hutch today announced a 50 per cent reduction in the rates of "Hutch-to-Hutch" calls for its prepaid subscribers in Delhi to 99 paise a minute from Rs 1.99 a minute.
 
The company also reduced the entry charges in the prepaid segments by making its SIM cards available at Rs 99.
 
The new rates would be applicable with effect from May 14, a company release said here.
 
"It is our constant endeavour to create value for our subscribers. By unveiling these various offers, Hutch has drastically reduced the cost of staying mobile and making mobile telephony affordable to the masses," the release said quoting Sanjoy Mukerji, operations director, Hutchison Essar, Delhi.
 
Hutch had recently started "Hutch shops" at 12 Delhi Metro stations, equipped with touch screen kiosks, offering a range of services for the subscribers.
