SoftSol eyes Rs 100 crore revenues

BS Reporter Chennai/ Hyderabad
SoftSol India Limited, a global information technology solutions and services provider, is eyeing consolidated revenues of Rs 80-100 crore this year, as compared with Rs 64.12 crore last year. This would mean a growth of 25-56 per cent over the last year.

SoftSol operates in the enterprise technology modernisation and innovation space and has recently bagged a $5-million government deal from the US for a period of two years.

According to Srini Madala, president and chief executive officer of SoftSol, this is the largest deal that the company has bagged so far. "We will be gunning for more large-sized and multi-year contracts," he added.

SoftSol is also trying to reduce its dependence on the California market for revenues.

"This year, our non-California revenues could be 30-40 per cent of our total revenues as compared with about 10 per cent last year," Madala said. The company has 15 clients at present.

In Hyderabad, SoftSol employs about 150 people and plans to double the headcount by the middle of next year. It is also setting up a 35,000-sft facility in Visakhapatnam, which will have a capacity to house 300-400 people.
