| Scope International, the shared services arm of Standard Chartered Bank (SCB), has set up a global network centre of excellence to arrest and reduce service impact on the bank's customers. The centre, which will function with an initial team of 14 people, will be acting as the single point monitoring hub for the group's network system, has been set up to enable SCB to pro-actively fix network malfunction even before the customer is able to sense any fault in the service experience with the bank, the company said in a statement. Scope, which employs close to 4,000 people, services 56 countries covered by SCB, and processes over 80 million transactions per year. |
