Music legend Elton John was forced to halt a show in New Zealand after being diagnosed with walking pneumonia.
The 72-year-old musician lost his voice in the middle of his performance at Auckland's Mount Smart Stadium on Sunday, reported BBC.
"I've just completely lost my voice. I can't sing. I've got to go. I'm sorry," an emotional John told the crowd.
The concert was part of the Oscar winner's New Zealand leg of Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour.
Walking pneumonia, also called atypical pneumonia, is a type of lung infection often caused by bacteria or viruses. Its symptoms are comparable to those of a bad cold, often including a cough, chest pain, a sore throat and a headache.
John was checked by a medic halfway through the show and, despite his illness, he was able to perform classics such as "Candle in the Wind" and "All the Girls Love Alice".
But his voice gave way as he tried to sing "Daniel", after which he called off the set.

Hollywood stars Megan Fox and Bruce Willis are set to star in FBI drama feature "Midnight in the Switchgrass".
The film marks the directorial debut of producer Randall Emmett, who has backed films such as "The Irishman", "2 Guns", and "Silence", reported Deadline.
The movie, penned by Alan Horsnail, also stars Emile Hirsch.
Set in 2004, the film centres around an FBI agent (Fox) and a Florida State officer (Hirsch) who team up to investigate a string of unsolved murder cases. Willis will play Fox's FBI agent partner.
Furla and EFF's Tim Sullivan and Alex Eckert are producing with Luillo Ruiz. Lydia Hull is attached to executive produce.
The film goes on floors on March 9 in Puerto Rico.

Nikita Pearl Waligwa, who starred in the 2016 sports drama "Queen of Katwe", has died. She was 15.
Waligwa had been diagnosed with a brain tumour, Deadline quoted Ugandan media.
Directed by Indian-American filmmaker Mira Nair, the Walt Disney film charted the rise of real-life chess prodigy Phiona Mutesi from a Ugandan slum. She began playing chess at the age of nine and went on to compete in international tournaments.
Madina Nalwanga played the lead and Waligwa played Gloria, Phiona's friend who explained the rules of the game in a memorable line that in chess, "the small one can become the big one".
The film also featured Academy Award winner Lupita Nyong'o as Phiona's mother and David Oyelowo as her chess teacher.
Waligwa was initially diagnosed with a brain tumour in 2016, and her film family mobilised to get her treatment in India. She made a recovery a year later, but the tumour returned in 2019.

The Beijing premiere and a tour of other cities in China for the upcoming James Bond film, "No Time To Die", has been called off due to the coronavirus outbreak.
According to Deadline, movie's lead star Daniel Craig and other cast members won't attend the April screening or the subsequent publicity tour of the country.
Cinemas across the world's second-largest box office market remain shut indefinitely amid efforts to controlling the spread of the virus.
There is currently little clarity on when business may return to normal. The death toll in China now exceeds 1,770 people.
Craig returns to play the suave British spy for the fifth and final time in the movie, directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga.
"No Time To Die" also stars Ben Whishaw, Naomie Harris, Ralph Fiennes, Lea Seydoux, Jeffrey Wright, Rami Malek, Lashana Lynch, and others.

The news comes hot on the heels of the Starz series' season five premiere last week.

The fourth season of thriller drama "Killing Eve" is set to air on April 26 on both BBC America and AMC.
The announcement about the critically-acclaimed and award-winning series, starring Sandra Oh and Jodie Comer, comes over a month after the show was renewed for a fourth season.

Mithali Raj, captain of the Indian women's national cricket team in Tests and ODIs, hopes her biopic "Shabaash Mithu" inspires young girls to join the sport.
