Veteran singer-songwriter Tom Waits will return to acting to star in TV drama "Citizen".
	Waits, who last appeared in "Seven Psychopaths" in 2012, has signed on to film the pilot of the supernatural show, which is a hero origin story set in Los Angeles, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
	He plays a priest named Cesar who runs a guerrilla humanitarian organisation with "questionable legality" from his church in the working-class neighbourhood of Boyle Heights.
	The pilot for the drama, which mixes "magical realism" with "gritty vigilantism", will be directed by Me and Earl and the Dying Girl moviemaker Alfonso Gomez-Rejon.
	Forrest Goodluck, who played Leonardo DiCaprio's son in "The Revenant", will also star alongside Spanish actor Alex Gonzalez and relative newcomer Augusto Aguilera.
	Waits, 66, is best known for his long-running music career, which began in the 1970s, but he has dabbled in acting occasionally with roles in "The Book of Eli", "The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus" .

Rapper Nicki Minaj regrets her celebrity feuds.
	The 33-year-old singer has locked horns with stars including Mariah Carey, Miley Cyrus and LIL' KIM in the past, reported Entertainment Weekly.

	When a fan asked her if she felt regret over the feuds, Minaj replied, "Yeah, all the time. All my feuds I regret, because I'm a sweet person, and I don't wanna be mean to people."

Singer Cody Simpson is "taking some time" for himself after his split from Gigi Hadid but is happy that things are going well in both her personal and professional life.
	Although the 19-year-old singer's former girlfriend has moved on with the former One Direction star Zayn Malik, Cody insisted that he just wants her to be happy and isn't upset by seeing them together in the media, reported Entertainment Tonight.
	"It's just kind of the natural way things go. You're going to expect that kind of stuff. I've kind of been going a different way, taking a little time for myself just hanging out and keeping it low key, and working on my music," Cody said.
	"But I'm always very happy for her and her career and that type of stuff. I know how hard she's always worked to kind of get to the point in the modeling industry that she's at now, and I couldn't be more proud of her. We still talk every now and then. It's nice.

R&B singer Chris Brown has been slapped with a trademark infringement lawsuit over his clothing line.
	Graffiti artist Konfused, real name Andre Khazrei, claims he has been using his tag name since 2003, and had it registered for use on T-shirts and other merchandise before Brown started using a similar moniker for his street art.
	The "Kiss Kiss" star, 26, has been adding his Konfuzed name on his fashion range, and now Khazrei is seeking to put a stop to the line amid fears it is causing confusion among consumers, and he is suing for damages, reported TMZ.
	Khazrei points out that Brown himself has also started to mix up the names by recently signing a street art piece at the Los Angeles Grammy Museum with an 's' instead of a 'z'.
	Brown has yet to respond to the lawsuit.

"Thor" star Chris Hemsworth has sold his Malibu and Santa Monica homes after relocating to his native Australia.
	The 32-year-old actor and his wife Elsa Pataky moved to Australia with their three children India, three, and twins Tristan and Sasha, 23 months.
	Their Malibu mansion, which Hemsworth, 32, and Pataky, 39, bought from 'Crocodile Dundee' star Paul Hogan in the exclusive Point Dume area, sold for USD 500,000 more than the USD 6.5 million asking price, according to TMZ.
	The property, spread over 6,800 square feet, has five bedrooms, six bathrooms, a gym, guest house and three-car garage.
	Hemsworth bought the home for USD 4.8 million.
	And the Santa Monica home, a more modest two-bedroom property, has sold for USD 1.25 million after it was originally bought for USD 820,000.
	Hemsworth and Pataky are now based in Byron Bay, New South Wales and he recently admitted he never felt at "home" in Los Angeles.

	The 2005 movie became a breakout performance for both the actors but Ledger died of an accidental overdose of prescription drugs in 2008.
	"Personally, it affected me in ways I can't necessarily put in words or even would want to talk about publicly," Gyllenhaal, 35, told People.
