Adani Enterprises Q2 profit up 84% to ₹3,198 crore on exceptional gains

Adani Group's flagship firm, Adani Enterprises, on Tuesday reported an 83.7 per cent year-on-year (Y-o-Y) increase in its consolidated net profit (attributable to the owners) to ₹3,198 crore, from ₹1,741.75 crore in the same quarter last year. On a sequential basis, profit skyrocketed 335.5 per cent from ₹734.41 crore.
 
The quarter’s profit includes an exceptional gain of ₹2,968.72 crore (post-tax ₹2,455.57 crore) from the partial stake sale in Adani Wilmar Limited, and an additional ₹614.56 crore from the amalgamation of Adani Cementation Limited with Ambuja Cements Limited, the firm said in a BSE filing.

The firm's earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortisation (Ebitda) for the quarter stood at ₹3,902 crore, down 10 per cent from ₹4,354 crore in Q2FY25.
