Business conglomerate Godrej Industries Ltd on Tuesday reported an 81 per cent increase in consolidated net profit at Rs 322.49 crore for the April-June quarter of 2024, on higher income.
Its net profit stood at Rs 178.06 crore in the year-ago period.
Total income increased to Rs 5,259.41 crore in the April-June period of 2024-25 fiscal, from Rs 4,893.40 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year, according to a regulatory filing.

On business performance of its subsidiaries, joint ventures and associate companies, Godrej Industries said the consolidated sales of Godrej Consumer Products Ltd (GCPL) stood at Rs 3,311 crore in the first quarter of this fiscal.
Godrej Properties' total Income grew to Rs 1,638 crore in April-June period of this fiscal, from Rs 1,315 crore in the year-ago period.

Patel Engineering Ltd on Tuesday reported a 25.81 per cent rise in its consolidated net profit to Rs 48.17 crore in the April-June quarter of 2024.
It had posted a Rs 38.29 crore net profit from operations during the year-ago period, the company said in an exchange filing.
The company's revenue from operations declined by 1.52 per cent to Rs 1,101.66 crore in the June quarter.
It was at Rs 1,118.61 crore in the year-ago period.
Patel Engineering's Managing Director Kavita Shirvaikar said, "Our focus remains on delivering long-term value for our stakeholders while continuously enhancing operational efficiency and output."

Adani Group on Monday agreed to pay USD 275 million to settle allegations of violation of US sanctions on Iran, with the U.S. Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) saying the Indian conglomerate extended "extensive cooperation" with the investigation and made "proactive" disclosures.
Adani Enterprises, the group's flagship firm, had bought shipments of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) from a Dubai-based trader purporting to supply Omani and Iraqi gas that had actually originated from Iran.
The settlement does not constitute a finding of guilt or wrongdoing and resolves all related liabilities.
"AEL agreed to settle its potential civil liability for 32 apparent violations of OFAC's Iran sanctions," OFAC said.

IndusInd Nippon Life Insurance on Monday reported 15.12 per cent rise in profit after tax at Rs 248 crore for financial year 2025-26, on the back of high growth in new business premium.
A year ago, the company had reported a net profit of Rs 215.43 crore.
New business premium of the company increased 18.5 per cent year-on-year to Rs 1,475 crore in FY26. The total premium grew 5.95 per cent to Rs 6,051 crore.
During the fiscal year, the assets under management (AUM) of the company surged 3.85 per cent year-on-year to Rs 40,214 crore, a statement said.
"The strong growth in new business premium, along with improved profitability, is a testament to the trust our customers place in us and the commitment of our teams on the ground," Ashish Vohra, executive director and chief executive officer of IndusInd Nippon Life Insurance said.
The claims settlement ratio of the insurer stood at 98.98 per cent in FY26. However, solvency ratio declined to 218 per cent, from 235 per cent.
