The Jorhat Lok Sabha Constituency of ASSAM state is currently held by Kamakhya Prasad Tasa of BJP. In the 2014 Lok Sabha Elections, Kamakhya Prasad Tasa beat Bijoy Krishna Handique of CONGRESS by receiving 49.00 per cent of the votes cast in this constituency.
