The Amritsar Lok Sabha Constituency of PUNJAB state is currently held by Captain Amarinder Singh of INC. In the 2014 Lok Sabha Elections, Captain Amarinder Singh beat Arun Jaitley of BJP by receiving 47.90 per cent of the votes cast in this constituency.
