The Basirhat Lok Sabha Constituency of WEST BENGAL state is currently held by Idris Ali of TMC. In the 2014 Lok Sabha Elections, Idris Ali beat Nurul Huda of CPI by receiving 38.70 per cent of the votes cast in this constituency.
