Blue Origin will try again to launch its massive new rocket as early as Tuesday after calling off the debut launch because of ice buildup in critical plumbing. The 320-foot New Glenn rocket was supposed to blast off before dawn on Monday with a prototype satellite. But ice formed in a purge line for a unit powering some of the rocket's hydraulic systems and launch controllers ran out of time to clear it, according to the company. Founded by Amazon's Jeff Bezos, Blue Origin said Tuesday's poor weather forecast could cause more delay. Thick clouds and stiff wind were expected at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. The test flight already had been delayed by rough seas that posed a risk to the company's plan to land the first-stage booster on a floating platform in the Atlantic. New Glenn is named after the first American to orbit Earth, John Glenn. It is five times taller than Blue Origin's New Shepard rocket that carries paying customers to the edge of space from Texas. "In 2025, Quick Commerce will actually start hitting a scale where it will become comparable to e-commerce," he wrote. IPO-headed Zepto reported a 120 per cent increase in operating revenue to Rs 4,454 crore in FY24, surpassing competitors like Swiggy's Instamart and Zomato's Blinkit. Emphasising that success in quick commerce will hinge on "exceptional execution", Palicha said it will be challenging for every single player to deliver that level of execution. "In 2025, the fundamentals of Quick Commerce will evolve dramatically. The custom

Amazon delivery drivers and Starbucks baristas are on strike in a handful of U.S. cities as they seek to exert pressure on the two major companies to recognize them as unionized employees or to meet demands for an inaugural labor contract. The strikes that started Thursday and Friday followed other recent standoffs between corporate America and organized labor. Large and established labor unions secured meaningful employer concessions this year following strikes by Boeing factory workers, dockworkers at East and Gulf coast ports, video game performers, and hotel and casino workers on the Las Vegas Strip. But workers at Starbucks, Amazon and some other prominent consumer brands still are fighting for their first contracts. Amazon refuses to acknowledge the organizing efforts of drivers and warehouse workers many of whom have voted to unionize even though the powerful Teamsters union says it represents them. Starbucks long resisted the unionization of its stores, but had agreed to ..
