Our health insurance scheme should be implemented across India: Gehlot

Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot reiterated on Thursday that his government's Chiranjeevi Health Insurance scheme should be implemented across the country. The Centre should also take the initiative to introduce a Social Security Act and implement the Old Pension Scheme for government employees, Gehlot said at the closing ceremony of the All India Presiding Officers' Conference at the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly here. Saying he has already requested Prime Minister Narendra Modi in this regard, Gehlot reiterated that the Chiranjeevi Health Insurance scheme should be implemented across the country. Under the scheme, the Rajasthan government provides health insurance of Rs 10 lakh and also bears the expense for organ transplants. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot Saturday said the Rajasthan government is making every effort to provide adequate electricity for agricultural activities and instructed officials to ensure that power supply to farmers is not affected under any circumstances. If required, purchase of electricity from power exchange and other sources should be ensured, he said at a meeting to review the status of power supply in the state. Gehlot launches 5G in Rajasthan, cautions agencies on cyber fraudsters

Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Saturday launched 5G internet service in the state and urged the country's investigative agencies to get well-trained in dealing problems caused by cyber fraudsters. Rajasthan increases honorarium of contract workers under MGNREGA scheme

The Rajasthan government has increased the honorarium of contract workers in the state by 5 per cent under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee (MGNREGA) scheme. Gehlot approves Rs 31.50 cr to set up open gyms, fitness centres in state

At least 44 people, including 37 students and seven experts, were arrested in Rajasthan's Udaipur district in connection with the paper leak a few hours before the 2nd grade teacher recruitment examination was to begin across the state on Saturday, police said.
