Nxtra, the data centre unit of Bharti Airtel, on Wednesday announced an agreement with Ampln and Amplus Energy to procure an additional 140,208 MWh (megawatt-hour) of renewable energy. Adani Group will invest Rs 50,000 crore over the next 10 years in setting up a 1 GW data centre in Maharashtra, the apples-to-airport conglomerate said on Wednesday. Adani Enterprises Ltd, the flagship company of the group, and the Maharashtra government, signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for setting up the 1 GW (gigawatt) hyperscale data infrastructure.
