The Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO) has transferred three advanced materials technologies to industry partners, the defence ministry said on Thursday. The DRDO has "successfully" developed a naval flare for the Kalvari-class submarines of the Indian Navy, a step towards strengthening India's underwater warfare capabilities, officials said on Friday. India has "successfully" conducted the maiden flight tests of an integrated air defence weapon system (IADWS) off the coast of Odisha.
