Ola Electric on Tuesday announced a festive campaign with prices of its S1 scooters and Roadster X motorcycles starting at Rs 49,999 for nine days starting September 23. Under Ola Muhurat Mahotsav, the customers now stand a chance to own Ola's scooters and motorcycles daily at never-before-seen prices, the Bengaluru-based electric two-wheeler maker said in a statement. Under the Muhurat Mahotsav, S1 X 2kWh and Roadster X 2.5kW will be priced at Rs 49,999, and S1 Pro+ 5.2kWh, and Roadster X+ 9.1kWh will be priced at Rs 99,999, it added. Both S1 Pro+ 5.2kWh and Roadster X+ 9.1kWh come with 4680 Bharat Cell battery packs. Bajaj Auto on Friday said it has resumed supplies of its electric scooter, Chetak, across all dealerships after overcoming constraints caused by global rare earth magnet availability. In recent weeks, temporary supply constraints linked to international component availability had moderated deliveries. The sustained and growing demand for Chetak added further pressure on supply, Bajaj Auto said in a statement. Production and shipments recommenced on August 20, marking a faster-than-anticipated return to full capacity, it added. Electric vehicle maker Kinetic Green on Friday said it plans to expand its business with the launch of three e-scooters over the next 18 months. The first of the three new products is expected to be launched around the festive season this year, the Pune-based firm said in a statement. Ola Electric on Thursday announced limited-time Holi flash sale offers for its S1 range of electric scooters. Under this sale, customers can avail discounts of up to Rs 26,750 on S1 Air and Rs 22,000 on S1 X+ (Gen 2), with the models now starting at Rs 89,999, and Rs 82,999, respectively, the company said in a statement. Electric scooter manufacturer River has announced plans to expand its retail footprint by opening 25 stores across the country by March this year. Electric two-wheeler startup Warivo Motor India is looking to nearly double its topline to around Rs 120 crore this fiscal on the back of its entry into high-speed electric-scooter segment, according to top company officials. The company, which has been present in low-speed (top speed of up to 25 kmph) so far, on Friday launched its high-speed scooter CRX with price starting at Rs 79,999 (ex-showroom). "Earlier, we were in the low-speed electric scooters segment. Now with the CRX, we are getting into the high-speed segment which will help us get more volumes." Electric vehicle maker Kinetic Green on Wednesday said it is working on a family e-scooter, which is expected to hit the market in the next one-and-a-half years even as it ruled out entering the fast-expanding electric motorcycle segment. At a media roundtable here Kinetic Green Founder and CEO Sulajja Firodia Motwani also said that the company is targeting a topline of Rs 10,000 crore by 2030 and 60 per cent of this revenue will come from the two-wheeler business. She also outlined the company's vision 3.0 for the next phase of growth, which, according to her, is aimed at capturing scale.
