Kinetic Green plans to expand business; to launch 3 e-scooters in 18 months

Electric vehicle maker Kinetic Green on Friday said it plans to expand its business with the launch of three e-scooters over the next 18 months. The first of the three new products is expected to be launched around the festive season this year, the Pune-based firm said in a statement. Kinetic Green has partnered with Italy's Torino Design to co-create a new range of ultra-futuristic scooters, it added. "Having sold over 80,000 E2Ws in this initial phase, created a strong manufacturing infrastructure and a network of 400 exclusive dealers for E2W in the country, we are ready to aggressively expand our E2W business," Kinetic Green Founder and CEO Sulajja Firodia Motwani said. Ola Electric offers Holi discounts of up to Rs 26,750 on S1 e-scooters

Ola Electric on Thursday announced limited-time Holi flash sale offers for its S1 range of electric scooters. Under this sale, customers can avail discounts of up to Rs 26,750 on S1 Air and Rs 22,000 on S1 X+ (Gen 2), with the models now starting at Rs 89,999, and Rs 82,999, respectively, the company said in a statement. The flash sale began on March 13 and ends on March 17. The company is also offering discounts of up to Rs 25,000 on the rest of its S1 range, including all the scooters from its latest S1 Gen 3 range, it added. With both S1 Gen 2 and Gen 3, the company has a portfolio of scooters across all price points ranging from Rs 69,999 to Rs 1,79,999 (after festive discount). Ola Electric said it is also offering benefits worth up to Rs 10,500. New buyers of S1 Gen 2 scooters can avail 1 year of free Move OS+ worth Rs 2,999, and extended warranty worth Rs 14,999 at Rs 7,499, it added. River targets retail expansion in India with 25 new stores by March 2025

Electric scooter manufacturer River has announced plans to expand its retail footprint by opening 25 stores across the country by March this year. The Bengaluru-headquartered company inaugurated its first store in Coimbatore, the second such facility in Tamil Nadu after the first outlet in Chennai, which was established in 2024. River is backed by marquee investors including Japan-headquartered Yamaha Motor, Mitsui and Company Ltd., Dubai-headquartered Al Futtaim Group among others. As part of its expansion, the company plans to open stores in Vellore, Erode, Tiruppur across the State. It would also set up facilities in Mysuru, Belgaum, Tirupati, Ahmedabad, Pune, Nagpur, and Delhi in the coming months. Warivo enters high-speed e-scooter segment, eyes Rs 120 cr topline in FY25

Electric two-wheeler startup Warivo Motor India is looking to nearly double its topline to around Rs 120 crore this fiscal on the back of its entry into high-speed electric-scooter segment, according to top company officials. The company, which has been present in low-speed (top speed of up to 25 kmph) so far, on Friday launched its high-speed scooter CRX with price starting at Rs 79,999 (ex-showroom). "Earlier, we were in the low-speed electric scooters segment. Now with the CRX, we are getting into the high-speed segment which will help us get more volumes." Warivo Motor India CEO Shammi Sharma told PTI. While the CRX has been positioned in the mid-segment of high-speed scooters, the company is planning a bridge product between the low-speed and high-speed along with a top-end high-speed scooter, he added. EV maker Kinetic Green to launch family e-scooter in about 18 months

Electric vehicle maker Kinetic Green on Wednesday said it is working on a family e-scooter, which is expected to hit the market in the next one-and-a-half years even as it ruled out entering the fast-expanding electric motorcycle segment. At a media roundtable here Kinetic Green Founder and CEO Sulajja Firodia Motwani also said that the company is targeting a topline of Rs 10,000 crore by 2030 and 60 per cent of this revenue will come from the two-wheeler business. She also outlined the company's vision 3.0 for the next phase of growth, which, according to her, is aimed at capturing scale. "We are working on a family e-scooter, which will be launched in about 18 months from now. The e-scooter would be in the urban format," she said. Bounce Infinity partners with SUN Mobility to deploy 30,000 e-scooters

Electric scooter-maker Bounce Infinity on Thursday said it has partnered with SUN Mobility under which the latter will deploy Bounce Infinity's 30,000 e-scooters in key markets across the country. The deployment of Bounce Infinity e-scooters will commence from February, starting from Bangalore and Hyderabad, and will be extended to Mumbai, Pune and Delhi NCR to begin with, Bounce Infinity said in a statement.
