Increase in enrolment rate in elementary education in Arunachal: CM Khandu

Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Wednesday said there has been an increase in the enrolment rate in elementary education and a reduction in the dropout rate at the secondary level in the state. India to fund projects worth Rs 237.1 cr in Sri Lanka's eastern province

India is to provide Rs 2,371 million to Sri Lanka for 33 development projects in education, health and agriculture sectors in the eastern province, it was announced on Tuesday. In line with the National Education Policy, Delhi University will introduce a one-year postgraduate programme starting in 2026. The draft proposal will be discussed at the Academic Council meeting scheduled for December 27, according to the agenda to be tabled for the meeting. Several changes have been incorporated into the plan, but some teachers have criticised the move, alleging it is being rushed for discussion.
