RattanIndia Enterprises acquires 100% shareholding in EV maker Revolt Motor

RattanIndia Enterprises Ltd on Saturday said it has completed the acquisition of Revolt Motors which is into manufacturing of electric vehicles. Now Revolt Motors has become a 100 per cent subsidiary of RattanIndia Enterprises Ltd, the company said in a statement. "RattanIndia Enterprises Limited has completed acquisition of 100 per cent shareholding in the electric motorcycles market leader Revolt Motors," the statement said. Revolt Motors is the highest selling electric bike in the country with its manufacturing facility in Manesar, Haryana. The EV maker has expanded its footprint pan-India with 30 dealerships spread across the country. Its flagship model RV400 has been witnessing a robust demand and is by far the most technologically advanced bike in the world, and RattanIndia Enterprises seeks to significantly scale up Revolt's growth and make it the largest EV two wheeler company in the country, RattanIndia Enterprises said. Jio-BP to build EV charging infrastructure for India unit of Citroen

Jio-BP, a fuels and mobility joint venture between Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) and BP, will build EV charging infrastructure for India unit of French automobile manufacturer Citroen, the two firms said on Friday. "Jio-bp will install DC fast chargers across Citron's key dealership network and workshops across the country in phases. "These chargers will also be open to the entire universe of EV car customers to help boost EV adoption among consumers," the two firms said in a statement. With the New Citron -C3 All Electric scheduled for launch in the first quarter of 2023, this partnership will ensure Jio-bp's charging infrastructure network is accessible via an app. Jio-bp currently operates a rapidly expanding network of EV charging and swapping stations under the Jio-bp pulse brand. Sun Mobility aims to serve 100k vehicles through battery swapping platform

Sun Mobility, an energy infrastructure and services provider for electric mobility, on Thursday said it aims to serve 10 lakh vehicles through its platform by 2025. The company unveiled its SwapX compact battery swapping station at the Auto Expo 2023 here, with an aim to enable individuals to become franchisees as it looks to accelerate expansion of network. Besides, Sun Mobility also showcased its next generation battery pack S2.1, which has a higher power battery offering 45 per cent more range and interoperability. "Our aim is to have one million vehicles on our platform," SUN Mobility co-founder and chairman Chetan Maini said. The company, which offers battery swapping service to two- and three-wheelers and small four-wheelers, has already deployed over 240 stations in more than 18 cities in India.
