First shooting schedule of 'Housefull 4' wrapped up

The first schedule of shooting for upcoming Bollywood comedy film 'Housefull 4' has been wrapped up.Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, which is producing the movie, made the announcement on Twitter.They wrote, "Now that's a spectacular wrap of the 1st schedule! #Housefull of Madness and Fun ?? Guess where next? ?? @akshaykumar @thedeol @Riteishd @kritisanon @hegdepooja @kriti_official #SajidNadiadwala @SimplySajidK @WardaNadiadwala @foxstarhindi #Housefull4"The shooting of the film commenced on July 9.The movie stars Akshay Kumar, Bobby Deol, and Riteish Deshmukh while 'Heropanti' star Kriti Sanon will be making her debut in a comic role.Kriti Kharbanda of 'Veerey Ki Wedding' fame will also be seen in this movie.The film, which is being directed by Sajid Khan, is the fourth film of the 'Housefull' series and is based on the theme of reincarnation.The film will be released in 2D, conventional 3D and IMAX 3D on October 25, 2019, coinciding with Diwali.

Anthony Anderson denies assault allegation

Hollywood actor Anthony Anderson has denied claims of allegedly assaulting a woman.According to E! Online, the woman in question claimed that the 'Romeo Must Die' actor assaulted her at a business meeting.Being inspired by the #MeToo movement, the woman later decided to file a complaint.Currently, a police investigation is underway as Anderson is listed as a suspect.Anderson's spokesperson in a statement said, "It's unfortunate that anyone can file a police report whether it is true or false. The authorities have not contacted Anthony or any of his representatives about this matter. Anthony unequivocally disputes the claim."The allegation come days after the actor was nominated for an Emmy award for Outstanding Lead actor in a comedy series.

TV actor Sidharth Shukla arrested for rash driving

TV actor Sidharth Shukla was arrested this evening after a car allegedly driven by him crashed into three vehicles in suburban Jogeshwari. One person sustained minor injuries in the accident, a police officer said. A BMW allegedly driven by the "Balika Vadhu"-fame actor rammed into three other cars on the New Link Road in Oshiwara before jumping the divider around 6 PM, said the officer. A case under IPC sections 279 (rash driving), 336 (endangering life or safety of others) and relevant provisions of the Motor Vehicles Act was registered against the actor. Further probe was on.

Last rites of poet Gopal Das Neeraj performed today

The last rites of legendary Hindi poet Gopal Das Neeraj were held here with full state honours today. Rich tributes were paid to him at Aligarh Muslim University by the Vice-Chancellor Tariq Mansoor and other prominent writers and poets with whom he was associated after he shifted to this city in the mid-1950s. Uttar Pradesh cabinet minister Laxmi Narayan Chaudhary were also present along with senior officials. Mansoor described Neeraj as an epitome of India's rich heritage of harmony, tolerance and pluralism. The vice-chancellor said that by willing to donate his body to the Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, the eminent poet had shown the way even after his death. "His death has left a void that will never be filled," he added. Khattar asks authorities to form scheme to clean Ghaggar river

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar today asked authorities to formulate a scheme to keep Ghaggar river clean in consultation with Punjab, Chandigarh and Himachal Pradesh. During a review meeting of various schemes, the chief minister was apprised that in order to keep the river clean, 46 sewage treatment plants and three common treatment plants were being established whereas eight such plants were under construction and 20 proposed. Regarding the progress of Kundli-Manesar-Palwal Expressway, he was informed that 92 per cent of the projects were completed. He said Haryana will soon implement a film policy to encourage films production- related activities in the state and promotion of its culture through the movies. The draft policy has already been prepared. Actors of the state should also be encouraged to play important characters in films, he said.

"The Reckoning", a documentary which recounts the fall of producer Harvey Weinstein and the rise of the #MeToo movement, has been acquired by Vertical Entertainment for distribution in the US. The company is planning to release in the film in the fourth quarter of this year.

'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' in Fox Pipeline

20th Century Fox Television is all set to come up with an all new version of 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer'.Joss Whedon, the creator of the original series that came out in 1992, will be joining the Fox project as Executive Producer, E! News reported.This will be a reboot of the original cult classic.According to a report by The Hollywood Reporter, set in the present day, the plot will be based on the mythology of the original TV Series.The original series ran for about seven seasons and the last episode aired on May 20, 2003.
