Paltrow praises Pitt for confronting Weinstein after hotel incident
Gwyneth Paltrow has praised ex-boyfriend Brad Pitt for confronting Harvey Weinstein after she told him that the producer had tried to misbehave with her in a hotel room in 1995. In a New York Times article published last year, Paltrow and many other female stars had accused Weinstein of sexual misconduct. Weinstein had called Paltrow for a meeting in his hotel room after she signed "Emma" and offered to massage her shoulders and lure her into his bedroom. "I was blindsided. The book, penned by Martin in 1980 prior to "Game of Thrones", is not set in the realm of Seven Kingdoms. The story albeit has a backdrop of a medieval fantasy world, where warring kingdoms harness the power of fire-breathing dragons. The plot revolves around a young girl named Adara, who secretly befriends a rare Ice Dragon. When an army of dragons invades her city, only her new friend can help her save their world from annihilation. According to Deadline, Martin is on board as a producer. Vince Gerardis is serving as executive producer. Warner Bros Animation Group chiefs Allison Abbate and Chris Leahy are overseeing the project for the studio.

Gal Gadot to back Fidel Castro journalism drama, may star too
"Wonder Woman" star Gal Gadot has been roped in to produce a film based on Peter Kornbluh's Politico article "'My Dearest Fidel': An ABC Journalist's Secret Liaison With Fidel Castro". The 33-year-old actor may also feature in the film, Variety reported. "Narcos" co-creator Chris Brancato will pen the adaptation of Kornbluh's article. Warner Bros studios has acquired the movie rights for Sue Kroll on behalf of Kroll & Co Entertainment through her exclusive deal. Kroll has partnered with Gadot and Jaron Varsano in developing the material. Kroll and Varsano will co-produce. The reportage chronicles the previously untold story of how ABC journalist Lisa Howard engaged in what Kornbluh described as "intimate diplomacy" with Castro. Howard was the network's first full-time female reporter and became a key asset in the establishment of a top-secret channel between Washington and Havana to discuss reconciliation after the 1962 Cuban Missile Crisis. Howard died in 1965 due to an overdose .
