Don't think many people will expect 'GOT' ending: Joe Dempsie

Actor Joe Dempsie said it would not be easy for the "Game of Thrones" fans to guess how the epic fantasy show is going to end as the conspiracy theories that are doing the rounds do not fit with the much-awaited climax. The 30-year-old actor, who plays Gendry in the popular HBO series, promised the "GOT" maniacs will enjoy the grand finale of the show. "I'm sure David (Benioff) and Dan (Weiss) (show creators) don't pay too much attention to people's theories and speculation there is all over the internet, but it would be a bit of an anti-climax if a well popularised theory turned out to be the way it ended. "There's many pitfalls and I think they really have achieved that with this. It's an ending I don't think many people will be expecting and I think, on reflection, people will really, really enjoy," Dempsie told Metro.co.uk. The actor jokingly added, "That's if I know the ending at all." "GOT" eighth and final installment airs next year.
