They may have been one of the most romantic pairs on screen, but Kamal Haasan and late female superstar Sridevi shared a bond like that of siblings. "Sridevi en thangachi (Sridevi was my younger sister)," Haasan said, decades after he was paired opposite Sridevi in a number of Tamil films such as 'Guru', 'Varumayin Niram Sivappu', 'Vaazhve Maayam' and 'Moondram Pirai', the last one being also remade as Hindi classic 'Sadma' in 1983. Noted Odia Bhajan singer Arabinda Muduli passed early today morning following a cardiac arrest. He was 56. Muduli was taken to a private hospital after he complained of chest pain but he breathed his last while he was being admitted there, family sources said. A musician, singer and lyricist, Muduli enthralled the audience with devotional songs and had won the hearts of millions of people in Odisha and elsewhere. 'I am Paul Walker' documentary in the works at Paramount
A new documentary on the life and death of "Fast and the Furious" franchise star Paul Walker is being developed by the Paramount Network. Walker had died in a car accident in 2013 at the age of 40, while on a break from filming "Furious 7". The film, titled "I Am Paul Walker", will feature interviews with some of Walker's most cherished cast-mates and friends who knew him best, the network said in a statement. It will also explore Walker's prolific film career and showcase a Walker's passion for the world's oceans and marine life as well as his efforts in helping rebuild Haiti after the devastating earthquake. The 'comprehensive' film will premiere on Paramount Network streaming platform and will be helmed by "I Am Heath Ledger" director Adrian Buitenhuis. It is being produced by Derik Murray from Network Entertainment who previously made films on John F Kennedy Jr, Muhammad Ali, and Bruce Lee.

Regional theatre all over the country is facing infrastructure issues with the solle exception of Mumbai, a top official of the National School of Drama (NSD) has said. NSD Director Waman Kendre, who was here to attend the inauguration of 8th Theatre Olympics, Kolkata chapter, told PTI the institute is doing its bit to change the situation.
