I approach Big B for a film everyday: Balki

Filmmaker R Balki says he has so much love for actor Amitabh Bachchan that he approaches the megastar with a script almost everyday. He, however, clarified that there is no film in the pipeline with Big B at the moment. Balki has worked with the 75-year-old actor in "Cheeni Kum", "Paa" and "Shamitabh". His latest, "Padman", features Bachchan in a cameo appearance. There were reports that Balki is gearing up to collaborate with the "Piku" star yet again, but Balki dismisses them as rumours. "I approach Mr Bachchan everyday for a film. But whatever you're hearing now is not true, they are all rumours. There's nothing on cards. The film people are talking about is not mine, but a friend's. I'm just helping him do it, I'm not directly involved," Balki told PTI. Cody Fern joins 'House Of Cards'

Cody Fern has joined the cast of Netflix's "House of Cards" as a series regular. Streaming giant had resumed production on the sixth and final season of political drama recently. Fern was last seen in "The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story" and also played the lead role in the film "The Tribes of Palos Verdes", reported Deadline. Earlier, Diane Lane and Greg Kinnear had joined the final season. The details of their roles are being kept under wraps, but it is known the two will play siblings. The sixth season of the show will consist of eight episodes, with Robin Wright starring. I don't go searching for a film: Shah Rukh Khan

Supertar Shah Rukh Khan says taking up a project is an organic process for him and he does not go looking for a film. The 52-year-old actor said every artiste has their own method of selecting a film but believes it is the movies that choose him, not the other way around. When asked whether he would also like to work in a film promoting campaigns like Akshay Kumar in the case of "Toilet: Ek Prem Katha", Shah Rukh said, "Everybody has their own system of doing a film, why they do, how they do.
