American broadcast television network NBC on Friday confirmed Megyn Kelly's exit from the talk show "Megyn Kelly Today". This comes after the host made controversial remarks about 'blackface' earlier this week."'Megyn Kelly Today' is not returning. François Ozon to direct 'By the Grace of God'

French film director François Ozon is all set to direct 'By the Grace of God,' a drama looking at a real-life case of sexual abuses allegedly committed by a French priest in the late 1980s.Now in post-production, the film is inspired by the scandal surrounding Bernard Preynat, a Roman Catholic priest who was accused of having abused scouts from 1986 to 1991 and was only recently indicted after several victims decided to file lawsuits, confirmed Variety.The movie will follow Alexandre, a man in his 40s living in Lyon with his wife and children, who discovers that a priest who abused him decades ago continues to work with children.He then joins forces with François and Emmanuel, who were also victims of the priest, to bring justice and lift the burden of silence about what they endured.It will also reunite Ozon with Melvil Poupaud, who starred in the helmer's 2005 drama 'Le temps qui reste' and in the 2010 drama 'Le Refuge.

Indian regional cinema should be made more accessible to the international audience, Hungarian film scholar Gyorgyi Vajdovich said on Friday. It is difficult to access Indian regional cinema and the authorities can constitute a board through which regional films can be accessed by the international audience, she said. Vajdovich was speaking 'Is there a Regional in films?' at the Open Session held on the second day of the Guwahati International Film Festival (GIFF) here. "Regional art house cinema, which is not the same as Bollywood or popular cinema, should be given more focus as it can cater to different markets and viewers," she said. Court rejects Alok Nath's wife's injunction plea against Nanda

A local court Friday rejected an application filed by actor Alok Nath's wife seeking an injunction order against writer Vinta Nanda who had accused him of rape. In the application, Nath's wife had sought that Nanda be directed to refrain from speaking to the media or making statements against the actor. According to Nath's lawyer, Ashok Saraogi, the court said it could not pass an injunction order against Nanda at this stage in the proceedings. "The interim injunction, which sought to restrain Nanda from speaking to the media, or post anything further on the issue on social media, was rejected by Dindoshi court. The injunction was sought in the defamation suit filed by Nath and his wife. The suit will be heard later by the court," he told PTI. Earlier this month, Nath had filed a civil defamation suit against Nanda after she accused him of rape. Filmmaker Kabir Khan said Friday that there were "hushed whispers" about most of the people who have been named in the #MeToo movement but everyone ignored it, something that will not happen again.
