Junior artist allegedly molested on 'Housefull 4' sets

A female junior artist was allegedly molested on the sets of 'Housefull 4' on Thursday night.Narrating her ordeal, the victim told ANI that she was sitting with a colleague on the sets of the movie, when two men namely, Pawan Shetty, Sagar along with four other men came and began misbehaving with her friend.Soon things got uglier. Alexander Skarsgard joins 'Godzilla vs Kong' cast

Actor Alexander Skarsgard has joined the cast of Legendary's "Godzilla vs Kong". Adam Wingard is directing the film, which also stars actor Julian Dennison. According to the Hollywood Reporter, plot details are unclear, but the actioner will feature the two titular classic monsters squaring off in some form. Skarsgard is expected to play the leader of a military unit. The film is the fourth installment in Legendary and Warner Bros' expanding universe about the two super-sized screen legends. The first installment of Legendary's MonsterVerse was 2014's "Godzilla", followed by 2017's "Kong: Skull Island". 'Clueless' movie remake in works

Classic '90s comedy movie "Clueless" is getting a remake. "Girls Trip" writer Tracy Oliver has been tapped to produce, while "Glow" writer Marquita Robinson will pen the script for the Paramount Pictures project, reported Deadline. Directed and written by Amy Heckerling, the 1995 original was loosely based on Jane Austen's 1815 novel, "Emma". The film featured Alicia Silverstone as privileged Beverly Hills high school student along with Cher, Paul Rudd, Breckin Meyer, Jeremy Sisto, Stacey Dash and the late Brittany Murphy. It is unclear if the new version will include former characters reprising their roles. The remake news comes as "Clueless, The Musical" is set to make its Off-Broadway debut.

'Sarkar' copyright row: HC issues notice to Sun Pictures

The Madras High Court Thursday issued notice to Sun Pictures, producer of Vijay-starrer "Sarkar", on a petition filed by a writer alleging copyright infringement. Writer and assistant director Varun Rajendran had claimed ownership of the film's story. He had said that Sarkar's story was a replica of his work titled 'Sengol', which he had registered with the writer's union in 2007. Disposing of a petition from Rajendran to restrain its release, Justice M Sundar issued notice to the Kalanidhi Maran-owned production house and posted the matter for further hearing on October 30. The producers of movie have now decided to release it on November 6. The petitioner's counsel had made a mention before Justice M Sundar and requested the court to hear his plea on an urgent basis.
