Filmmaker Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari is set to work with Kangana Ranaut, Neena Gupta and Jassie Gill in her next titled "Panga". The film, Fox Star Studios, revolves around "a family who laughs, cries, dreams together and remains by your side to make your dream come true". Bollywood star Rani Mukerji's critically acclaimed film "Hichki" is set to release in Kazakhstan on September 20. The film had a successful run in Russia and now a version with Russian voice over will release in Kazakhstan. Russian is one of the country's official languages. Hollywood star Ben Affleck and "Saturday Night Live" producer Lindsay Shookus have parted ways after one year of dating. Affleck, 46, and Shookus, 38, split two to three weeks ago, reported E! online. "They are still very amicable and have stayed friends. They both tried to make it work, but the distance just proved to be too much for them right now. Family comes first for them both," a source said. Streaming giant Netflix has renewed its Emmy nominated show "Glow" for third season. Season one of "GLOW" has been nominated for eight Primetime Emmy Awards, including outstanding comedy series. The renewal comes nearly two months after the series' second season premiered, reported Variety. Netflix has not yet announced a return date, but the series has bowed in summer its first two seasons. "Glow", featuring Alison Brie in the lead, is set in 1985 Hollywood and was inspired by the Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling syndicated series of the 1980s. It tells the fictional story of Brie's Ruth Wilder, an out-of-work actor who finds herself in an upstart women's wrestling circuit. The series is created by Liz Flahive and Carly Mensch. Veteran musician Eric Clapton has announced his first ever full-length studio holiday album, 'Happy Xmas', set to release on October 12. The album will features a version of "Jingle Bells" that is dedicated to the late DJ Avicii, who died of an apparent suicide in Oman in April. 'Happy Xmas' is Clapton's 24th studio album and his first since 2016's 'I Still Do', and mixes holiday classics with lesser-known unique titles, as well as an original new song "For love on Christmas day," reported Billboard. Clapton and Avicii both struggled with substance abuse -- Clapton with both drugs and alcohol in the 1960s and 1970s, and Avicii with alcohol, which many believe contributed to the ill health that led him to stop touring. Asia Argento is not being investigated for the alleged sexual abuse of James Bennett, but according to a Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department spokesperson detectives will reach out to the young actor about his claim. The New York Times had revealed in a report published on Sunday that Argento, made a deal with former child actor-musician Bennett for the amount of USD 380,000, payable over the period of a year-and-a-half. A spokeswoman for the Sheriff's Department said the agency first came to know about the allegation from the Times report, and would now try to get in touch with Bennett. Hollywood star Eva Longoria has joined the voice cast of Paramount's live-action feature "Dora the Explorer". Longoria will portray the mother of the title character. According to the Hollywood Reporter, the movie is currently in production in Australia with James Bobin attached to direct. Isabela Moner is playing Dora in the movie version of the hit cartoon series. Kristin Burr is producing the project, which has been in the works since 2015. The animated "Dora the Explorer" television series ran on Nickelodeon from 2000-2014 for eight seasons. It followed a young Latina girl who went on adventures around the world. The movie will centre on Dora as a teenager moving to the city and dealing with high school. She finds herself leading Boots (her best friend, a monkey), and a rag tag group of teens on an adventure to save her parents and solve the impossible mystery behind a lost Inca civilization. Paramount has set an August 2, 2019 release date for the film.
