Teams: Sussex, Khulna Titans, Hobart Hurricanes, Rajasthan Royals, Galaxy Gladiators Lantau, Quetta Gladiators, Sindhis
Jofra Archer is a lanky fast bowler with a high arm action who can bowl at the speed of 145 kmph. A dangerous lower-middle-order batsman, too, Archer played for West Indies under 19s. Born in Barbados to an English father, he holds an English passport but is not eligible to play for England. According to the earlier England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) rules, since he did not live in England until after his 18th birthday, he needed to complete a seven-year residency period before he would be allowed to play for the England side. However, in November 2018, the ECB announced a change to its rules, reducing the eligibility period from seven years to three.

In the IPL 2018 player auction, Rajasthan Royals bagged him for a whopping Rs 7.20 crore. He has so far taken 26 wickets in 20 matches at an average of 21.42 while conceding 7.54 runs an over.
