Sugs Lloyd IPO receives 3.23 times subscription on final day of offer

The initial share sale of integrated EPC player Sugs Lloyd received 3.23 times subscription on the final day of the offer on Tuesday amid encouraging participation from institutional investors. The initial share sale received bids worth over Rs 246.74 crore, the company said in a statement. The quota for non-institutional investors received 5.30 times the subscription, while the portion for the individual investors category was subscribed 2.12 times. The qualified institutional buyer segment fetched 2.03 times subscription, bringing the overall subscription to 3.23 times on the final day of bidding. The price band of the issue was fixed at Rs 117-123 per share. The initial public offering (IPO) is entirely a fresh issue of up to 69.64 lakh equity shares with a face value of Rs 10 each. Anlon Healthcare IPO booked 7.12 times offer size on closing day

The initial public offer of Anlon Healthcare Ltd got subscribed 7.12 times on the closing day of share sale on Friday. The Rs 121-crore IPO received bids for 9,47,39,520 shares against 1,33,00,000 shares on offer, according to NSE data. The category for Retail Individual Investors (RIIs) fetched 47.29 times subscription, while the quota for non-institutional investors got subscribed 10.61 times. Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs) part received 1.07 times subscription. The initial public offer (IPO) has a fresh issue of up to 1.33 crore shares. The price range for the offer is fixed at Rs 86-91 per share. Interactive Financial Services Ltd is the book-running lead manager to the offer.

Sebi extends deadline till December for Karvy investors to file claims

Markets regulator Sebi on Thursday extended the deadline till December for investors of defaulted broker Karvy Stock Broking Ltd (KSBL) to file their claims. KSBL was declared a defaulter by the National Stock Exchange (NSE) on November 23, 2020. Following this, investors were invited to submit claims against the broker, with the final date for submission set as June 2, 2025. Now, the regulator has "decided to extend the deadline till December 31, 2025". Investors have been suggested to take note of the deadline and are urged to file their claims before the deadline, if not lodged already, Sebi said in its statement. Gem Aromatics ₹451 cr IPO fully subscribed on first day of bidding

The initial share sale of Gem Aromatics Ltd, a manufacturer of speciality ingredients, got fully subscribed on day one of bidding on Tuesday. The initial public offering (IPO) received bids for 1,00,64,616 shares against 97,82,363 shares on offer, translating into 1.03 times subscription, as per NSE data. Retail Individual Investors (RIIs) part received 1.08 times subscription while the category for Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs) got subscribed 1.05 times. Non-institutional investors category received 88 per cent subscription. Gem Aromatics on Monday mobilised over Rs 135 crore from anchor investors. The Rs 451-crore IPO will conclude on August 21. The price band has been set at Rs 309 to Rs 325 per share. Sebi launches investor awareness campaign on AIR to prohibit fraud

Markets regulator Sebi on Thursday announced the launch of an investors' awareness campaign on All India Radio (AIR) specifically on frauds related to the securities market taking place through social media platforms. Also, Sebi in collaboration with the Ministry of Panchayati Raj has launched a nationwide training initiative for block-level panchayat representatives to promote financial literacy and investor education at grassroots level. In a statement, the regulator said the aim of the awareness campaign is to "caution investors to protect themselves from fraudsters, to curb fraudulent activities taking place on social media platforms, and to protect the interest of investors". To launch this campaign, the first session by Sebi Chairman Tuhin Kanta Pandey would be aired on August 15 on All India Radio channels, which has PAN India reach.
