India has enormous respect for the American presidency but New Delhi has never particularly wanted to ask anyone to mediate and no one needed to tell us to stop', Congress MP Shashi Tharoor said, amid repeated claims by US President Donald Trump of mediating in the recent military conflict between India and Pakistan. All I can say is that we have enormous respect for the American presidency and the American president. All we can say for ourselves is that we have never particularly wanted to ask anyone to mediate, said Tharoor, the leader of the all-party parliamentary delegation which arrived here on Tuesday afternoon and began its packed day of meetings with lawmakers and government officials on Wednesday. During an interaction at the National Press Club here on Wednesday, Tharoor stressed that India had no real difficulty in speaking the same language as the Pakistanis. As long as they use the language of terrorism, we will use the language of force. That doesn't require a third .

India and Australia on Wednesday resolved to further boost their strategic ties with Defence Minister Rajnath Singh hailing Canberra's unequivocal support to New Delhi's resolute response to the barbaric Pahalgam terror attack. Indian delegation in US to push anti-terror message, discuss Op Sindoor

An all-party parliamentary delegation led by Congress leader Shashi Tharoor will meet members of the US Congress, American officials, think tanks and policy experts to brief them on Operation Sindoor, terrorism faced by India and regional security. The delegation arrived in the US capital Tuesday and will have packed days of engagements till Thursday. Multi-party delegation meets and receives feedback from S Jaishankar

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on Tuesday met members of a multi-party delegation and received feedback from them on how they exposed Pakistan in various countries over its support to terrorism. The delegation led by BJP leader Baijayant Panda met Jaishankar at his office here after the key diplomatic tour and presented their report. Punjab man held for sharing sensitive info with Pakistan during Op Sindoor

A man hailing from Punjab's Tarn Taran district was arrested for allegedly sharing sensitive information related to the army's movements during Operation Sindoor with Pakistani intelligence operatives, a top police officer said on Tuesday. Police also recovered a mobile phone containing information, which he shared with the Pakistani Intelligence Operatives (PIOs). The accused was allegedly in contact with Pakistan's intelligence agency Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) and also received money for passing on sensitive information, the police sad. Director General of Police Gauarv Yadav said the accused has been identified as Gagandeep Singh alias Gagan, a resident of Mohalla Rodupur, Gali Nazar Singh Wali, in TarnTaran.
