HFCL Q1 results: Consolidated profit at ₹245.64 crore, revenue doubles

Domestic telecom gear maker HFCL on Wednesday said it recorded the highest-ever quarterly consolidated profit at Rs 245.64 crore in the three months ended June 30, 2026. HFCL has also doubled its revenue growth guidance for the fiscal year 2027 to 40 per cent from 20 per cent projected earlier. The performance was mainly driven by demand from hyperscale data centres, export growth and enhancement in production generating economies of scale, the company said. HFCL had posted a loss of Rs 29.3 crore in the same period a year ago. "Our record quarterly financial performance reflects the convergence of multiple structural growth drivers. Rising demand from hyperscale data centres, improved product realisations, operating leverage through economies of scale, a diversified portfolio of high-value technology products, and expanding export opportunities have collectively driven a significant improvement across all key financial metrics," the company said in a statement. Mahindra Holidays Q1 result: Net loss of ₹8.56 crore on higher costs

Mahindra Holidays & Resorts India Ltd on Wednesday reported a consolidated loss after tax at Rs 8.56 crore in the June quarter impacted by growth-related costs in domestic business and headwinds from geopolitical uncertainties in international operations. The company had posted a consolidated profit after tax of Rs 7.17 crore in the corresponding quarter last fiscal year, Mahindra Holidays & Resorts India Ltd (MHRIL) said in a regulatory filing. Consolidated revenue from operations during the quarter under review stood at Rs 732.81 crore as against Rs 701.4 crore in the year-ago period, it added. Total expenses in the quarter under review were higher at Rs 776.48 crore as compared to Rs 713.33 crore in the same period last fiscal year, the company said. Adani Power Q1FY27 result: Net profit jumps over 47% to ₹4,867 crore

Adani Power on Wednesday reported a 47.24 per cent rise in its net profit to Rs 4,866.60 crore in the June quarter, mainly on the back of higher revenues and strong power demand. In a statement, the company said its profit before tax jumped nearly 50 per cent to Rs 6,300.49 crore in Q1 FY27 from Rs 4,204.31 crore in Q1 FY26 on account of improved continuing profitability, further supported by higher one-time prior income recognition during the quarter. During the quarter, Adani Power Ltd (APL) recognised Rs 117.69 crore as share of profit from an associate, following the acquisition of stake in Jaiprakash Power Ventures Ltd. Consequently, it stated that profit after tax for Q1 FY27 rose 47.24 per cent to Rs 4,866.60 crore from Rs 3,305.13 crore in Q1 FY26. It also stated that there was a one-time net recognition of revenues pertaining to prior periods of Rs 1,386.34 crore in Q1 FY27, primarily due to revision in historic energy charges under certain PPAs compared to Rs 406.21 Crore

CSB Bank Q1 result: Net profit rises 27% to ₹150 cr, revenue at ₹1,516 cr

CSB Bank on Wednesday reported a 27 per cent increase in the June quarter net profit at Rs 150 crore aided by core income. The private sector lender had earned Rs 119 crore profit in the year-ago period. Total income improved to Rs 1,516 crore from Rs 1,286 crore a year ago. Interest income grew to Rs 1,287 crore from Rs 1,041 crore, CSB Bank said in a regulatory filing. The bank's net interest income also increased 26 per cent to Rs 479 crore from Rs 379 crore in the same quarter in the previous financial year. The bank's asset quality improved as Gross Non-Performing Assets (NPAs) fell to 1.75 per cent of gross advances as of June 30, 2026, from 1.84 per cent a year ago. Similarly, net NPAs, too, declined to 0.39 per cent from 0.66 per cent at the end of the first quarter of the previous financial year. As a result, provisions and contingencies eased to Rs 49 crore from Rs 61 crore earmarked during the same quarter a year ago. The bank's capital adequacy ratio declined to 19.

BCCL Q1 result: Net loss at ₹68 crore as revenue falls to ₹3,587 crore

Coal India arm BCCL on Wednesday reported a loss of Rs 68.09 crore for the June quarter due to lower revenue and higher expenses. However, the company had reported a profit of Rs 176.87 crore in the year-ago period, Bharat Coking Coal Ltd (BCCL) said in a filing to the BSE. Revenue from operations during the first quarter of the current fiscal year declined to Rs 3,587.27 crore over Rs 3,719.59 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year. In a presentation, BCCL -- a Miniratna PSU -- said, "The reduction in sales is on account of reduction in outside dispatch from 8.83 million tonnes to 7.81 million tonnes." It further said the decrease in other income is primarily attributable to the reduction in provision and liability write back. The total expenses rose to Rs 3,826.31 crore over Rs 3,654.39 crore in the year-ago period, the filing said. FMCG major Nestle India on Wednesday reported a 48.26 per cent on-year rise in consolidated net profit to Rs 958.68 crore in the June quarter of this financial year, supported by strong volume growth. The company had posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 646.59 crore in the corresponding period last fiscal, Nestle India said in a regulatory filing. Nestle India's revenue from Sale of Products was up 25.4 per cent at Rs 6,363.27 crore in the June quarter of FY27. This was at Rs 5,073.96 crore in the corresponding period a year ago. "We delivered a strong quarter with sales growth of 25.4 per cent led by volume growth. Sales stood at Rs 6,363.3 crore, powered by continued consumer trust in our brands and a strong focus on execution.
