E-commerce firm Flipkart on Wednesday said it has reported one of its strongest growth phases in recent years, marked by a sharp rise in customer base, higher order volumes, and deeper participation from Tier-2 and Tier-3 towns.
The company said it served over 200 million customers across its ecosystem during the festive season, reflecting its expanding relevance in urban and non-metro India.
Overall orders on the platform grew 21 per cent during the festive period, and around 40 per cent year-on-year post-festive period, signalling broad-based consumer confidence and category momentum, the company said in a statement.
The festive cycle attracted 101 million customers, with two-thirds of them from non-metro areas - a trend Flipkart said reflects the accelerating shift of smaller towns toward online consumption and category diversification.

India's active subscriber base rose sharply by 5.7 million in October, strongest show in five months, with Jio leading the pack with gains at 3.9 million, according to various analyst reports that crunched TRAI recent data.
In its report, Jefferies said strong subscriber momentum for calender 2025 (year till date) and rising data penetration bode well for average revenue per user or ARPUs.
"During October, sector's active subscriber base rose by 5.7 million to 1,094 million - highest monthly addition in last 5 months. Active subscriber base grew by about 34 million during CYTD'25 - the highest in eight years," it said.
Jio's active subscriber gains were at 3.9 million (to 476 million) in October, with Bharti Airtel at nearly 2.8 million (the nine-month high pushing the count to 392 million), while Vodafone Idea lost 0.4 million.
Jio added more active subscribers than Bharti Airtel for the eighth straight month, Jefferies said.

The Department of Consumer Affairs has mandated that all pan masala packages, irrespective of size or weight, must display the Retail Sale Price (RSP) and other mandatory declarations under the Legal Metrology (Packaged Commodities) Rules, 2011.
The amendment, notified through GSR 881(E), will come into force on February 1, 2026, an official statement said.
From that date, all manufacturers, packers and importers of pan masala must ensure full compliance.
The amendment removes the earlier exemption that allowed small packs of 10 grams or less to avoid certain declarations. Now, even these smaller packs must print the Retail Sale Price on their labels and display all declarations required under the 2011 rules.
The previous proviso under Rule 26(a) has been withdrawn and replaced with a new proviso specific to pan masala.
